3D ANIMATION

In 3D Animation, you will learn the skills that movie makers, video game designers and architects utilize in their creations. Plus, earn credit through Truckee Meadows Community College.

3D Animation I
In this course, you will become acquainted with LightWave 3D software. Instruction will include: creating 3D models, using object modifiers, Boolean operations, applying textures, lighting, cameras and rendering. This is a Tech Prep class. Lab fee: $15.

3D Animation II
In this second year course, you will build upon skills learned in the previous class by utilizing advanced tools, textures and mapping, bones, and special effects. This is a Tech Prep class. Lab fee: $15.

3D Portfolio (3D Animation III)
You will utilize previously learned 3D graphics skills to complete several own choice complex 3D projects. Working both individually and in teams, you will produce projects that include both still and animated renderings. Lab fee: $15
